MY STORY
Just another creator

Paintman is just a cosmic uplift project. Like an extraterrestrial visitor; but ordinary as one born under the earth’s gravity. Paintman looks at the classics with the utmost respect; summoning with emotional idolatry to the curiosity. This idea dresses and confronts with contemplation and joy.  While framing creations, seek to understand the world through its visual poetry and imagination. Sometimes as a spectator, other times recreating, all the time, trying to re-signify our cultural realities, carrying on with a handful of theories and techniques. Lunatic, or sane as many would like. Reaping and sowing concepts without knowing how good providence will be. Whether it will achieve production. Usually working and waiting, hoping for certainty; but humble with faith, because everybody has to believe in himself. A personal story might be someone else’s story. The anchor of a dream, the revelation of others. The lever of a future passion. An unexpected gift filled with art.

Paintman’s influences:
Or between the reaching, and transcendence, scope, and significance.

Two cultural periods: Goethe’s holistic approach to art and the fragmentation and diversity of perspectives of postmodernism influenced the aesthetics and content consumption of art and information on this project. Goethe believed in harmony and totality, focusing on the science of color and its impact on emotions and perceptions. His “Color Theory” work reflects his holistic vision of art, where beauty reveals harmony and wholeness.

In contrast, fragmentation and diversity of perspectives characterized postmodernism, with abundant information and entertainment available in the digital age. This environment encourages multitasking and the rapid succession of visual and emotional stimuli, contrasting with the depth and contemplation sought by Goethe.

This deeply impacts our aesthetic perception, leading to a superficial and fragmented appreciation of art and culture. While we gain holographic infinitive meaning on the content consumption.

In conclusion, both Goethe’s aesthetic ideas and postmodern culture offer valuable insights into how we understand and value art and information. Goethe emphasizes the importance of harmony and depth in aesthetic experience, while postmodernism challenges us to adapt to an ever-changing world where diversity and speed are the norm. The key is to find a balance between these two perspectives and engage the best of both to enrich our cultural and aesthetic experience in the 21st century.

VISUAL ARTS

«Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.»

Edgar Degas

…My art is really a voluntary confession and an attempt to explain to myself my relationship with life – it is, therefore,

actually a sort of egoism, but I am constantly hoping that through this I can help others achieve clarity.

Edvard Munch

I like the colors and the mix of styles. They don’t look like they were made by the same artist.

Chris Martin

Awesome… Is interesting how the images are related to the offered books, without being illustrations. Good advice, create you need to research

Monique Fisher

Is not art for another planet, but I would be happy to hang one on my wall. Keep going.
